Opened in 2014, The Second Mouse Cheesetique has a name with a story as rich as our cheeses. One morning, as I woke my son up for school with the classic phrase, “The early bird gets the worm” (something my own mom had told me for years), he groggily replied, “Yes, but the second mouse gets the cheese!”

It took me a moment to get it, but when I did, the laughter was unstoppable. Years later, when I set out on my cheese-filled adventure, I knew there was no better name for my dream shop. After all, patience is a virtue—but good cheese is a reward worth waiting for!
